PAN: Jugo

Design: I wanted Jugo to give off the feeling of a sage or fakir, cause reaching ultimate balance with nature kind of goes hand in hand with that line of work. Because he is so in tune with nature at this point, he is practically part of it. Animals accept his presence, and growth thrives on his very skin. Basically, he's like Swamp Thing. 

Story: After the last Ninja-war, Team Hawk split to pursue personal goals. Jugo, keen as always to cure his Jekyll & Hyde-condition, tried to find the solution thru the medical proficiency of Tsunade. She managed to develop a serum, which worked! With his powers under control, Jugo became a resident of Konoha, choosing the obscure civilian life rather than the career of a shinobi. But as time went on, Jugo started to again revert to states of complete uncontrollable rage. His powers even appeared to have increased at this point. This was because his nature absorbing powers had gone around the serum and mutated. No serum at this point could reverse the process, and Tsunade predicted that Jugo might soon may turn into a monster permanently. 
The solution came with Naruto, who had earlier offered to take Jugo to the toad sages in order to become a sage and maintain control of his condition. Initially reluctant at first, Jugo agreed because he had no other choice.
Training with both Naruto and the Toads, Jugo eventually grasped the art and became a master sage, becoming in tune with nature to a level even more impressive than Naruto. He is so in tune with the natural environment around him that he has learned to live off the land, even being able to manipulate it to a certain degree.  

After mastering becoming a sage, he started to walk the earth, preferring the solitude in the great outdoors to further improve his abilities. Because of this, he had no idea of the destruction of Konoha for the longest time; not until he was contacted by his old comrade Sasuke, who wanted him to become the personal tutor to Himawari Uzumaki, who herself was having similar problems with her over excessive power that came from the nine-tailed kit Chibi.
